Since our establishment in 1973, the PGES has been at the forefront of advancing geotechnical engineering in Pakistan. Celebrating our Golden Jubilee, we take pride in our rich history of organizing 16 national and international conferences, along with the 9th Asian Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference (AYGEC). Our commitment to knowledge sharing is evident through the numerous technical lectures we hold regularly.

Our 20-member Executive Council, comprising esteemed representatives from both academia and industry, underscores our dedication to fostering collaboration and innovation in the field. As a key platform for the promotion of geotechnical engineering, we actively maintain a liaison with the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE).
